Duncan Wiltshire - Managing Director
Duncan has always been deeply involved in the historic motoring and motorsport world. A former long-term Board-member of the Bentley Drivers Club and member of the Motoring Committee of the Royal Automobile Club, Duncan is also Chairman of Motor Racing Legends – promoter of five historic race series that are widely regarded as among the most prestigious in the world. These include; the Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy, the Stirling Moss Trophy, Motor Racing Legends Pre-War Sports Car Series, the Historic Touring Car Challenge and the recently launched Tony Dron Trophy. Since 2001, Duncan has been responsible for promoting the Le Mans Legend support race to the annual Le Mans 24 Hour race in France.
Duncan launched Historic Promotions with Richard Grafton in 2010 to capitalise on the wealth of event promotion experience gained within Motor Racing Legends over many years and to make it possible to offer those skills to a broader audience within the automotive and historic motoring sectors. Originally a qualified civil engineer, and son of a former President of the Bentley Drivers Club, Duncan has raced vintage Bentleys for the past 25 years, and is a member of numerous motoring clubs.
Richard Grafton - Commercial Director
Richard started his career in automotive engineering, completing a degree course in Production Engineering and his early training with Austin Rover Group. He then went on to broaden his commercial, sales and marketing skills through a career in the music and entertainment industry, most recently as Commercial Director for EMI Music.
In 2003 he set up his own business consultancy, taking on assignments in various consumer and business-to-business markets including the entertainment, leisure, healthcare and financial services industries.
Since 2007 he has been working with Motor Racing Legends to develop new business strategies and to improve operations. In 2010 Richard set up Historic Promotions with Duncan Wiltshire and now oversees the commercial and operational aspects of the organisation, including event direction, marketing, sponsorship, finance, legal and IT.
